Solar inserts
Conservatories have always been looked upon as a good way to add another room to your house, but the reality can be quite different conservatories often suffer from heat build up in the summer months(making conservatories to hot), and heat loss in the winter months(making conservatories to cold). Most people don't realize that this mostly comes from the roof not being insulated as much as it needs to be.
Solar inserts are thin strips of polyester laminate that contain small lengths of metal. These strips are inserted into the top compartment of the polycarbonate sheets used in your conservatory roof, and create a reflective surface that bounces the sun's heat away from the roof also sending the heat that reaches it from the inside back inside. The effect created is that in the summer the excess heat that would normally build up inside the conservatory is not allowed inside, and in the winter the heat that you would usually loose through the roof is bounced back inside and keeps the conservatory warmer.

As well as enjoying a greater level of comfort and control over the temperature whilst using your conservatory, solar inserts reflect the sun's harmful UV rays, reducing the amount of glare in your conservatory by up to 80%, producing a better environment for reading, watching television or entertaining guests and cutting down on fabric fading.
This simple, but highly effective innovation can help you to make greater use of your conservatory, providing a comfortable controlled environment in any season.
